Projects | The Towers Co-op Community

This was a whole garden apartment complex that exists in an entire city block in historic Jackson Heights, Queens. We were tasked with an extensive existing conditions assessment including measured drawings. I was responsible for some of the surveying, and all of the base drawings and conditions drawings. We also did a site survey, and double checked all drawings against the conditions. Photos and multiple site visits were a key part of a process to get the details done correctly.

Projects | Hastings on Hudson Village Hall

This was an extensive survey of the inside and outside of a village town hall. The client had a lot on their list of work to do, and we started with assessing the conditions. Once we had the report the client wanted to move forward with phasing the most important work. I worked on the base drawings and helped organize those drawings into several bid sets that could be presented for the different phases of work.

Projects | Brooklyn Brownstone

This was a small project that I was one of the first projects I worked on at my last firm. It involved a small existing condition assessment to look at the issues the owners wanted repaired. I did the drawings, as well as put together the bid and construction sets. I worked with the contractor, client, and consultants to keep the project going through two three project manager changes.

Project | Design Studio 2018

This was an individual project with the goal of developing 'live' renders overlaid onto existing videos. I used maya and adobe aftereffects to develop short fly over videos of my rendered model. The project was to be a large resort complex in the desert along route 66, with buildings looking like metal had melted over rock formations.

Project | Design Studio 2017

This was a two person comprehensive studio that involved a complete design for a lab building in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We designed a building that incorporated plant growing systems in the circulation system. The exterior glass facade system wrapped into the interior turning the whole building into a larger complex of small discrete units. In addition to lab spaces there were public access to the courtyards and other gallery spaces. It was a living and learning center meant for research that also included living quarters with appropriate separation from the work and live space per safety regulations.
